Djokovic Injury While Giving Signatures To Fans




Men's world number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic, suffered minor injuries when she tried giving autographs to fans after the match Hopman Cup, Monday, December 31, 2012.

Less than two days after winning the tournament in Abu Dhabi, Saturday, December 29, 2012, Djokovic had to fly to Perth, Australia, to strengthen Serbia against Italy at the Hopman Cup. The 25-year tennis player Andreas Seppi challenged.

In a state of fatigue, Djokovic still able to win easily 6-3 and 6-4 win over Seppi. However, after the match Djokovic had an unexpected incident.

When trying to sign autographs for fans, Djokovic hit the board right leg boundary. It is due to impatient fans asking for autographs Djokovic and shoving. Djokovic then left the field with a limp condition.

"I was a little surprised, and I'm glad the kids are involved in the incident was not anything. Condition I do not anything," Djokovic said as quoted by the Daily Mail.

Djokovic was lucky not to be seriously injured and could play in the mixed doubles with Ana Ivanovic. Serbia itself successfully beat Italy 2-1 thanks to a victory over Ivanovic and Francesca Schiavone 6-0 6-4.
